My Loves!

Yes.....I downloaded all my pictures onto my computer and I am having a BLAST posting them for you to see!!!!

My two boys have been the most unexpected crazy things in my life!!
Unexpected because when I was young I never saw myself having children!
Crazy because I then met my hubby!! I didn't know I really wanted kids until I met the man I would spend eternity with!!!

I am completely and totally in love with all three of my guys and am oh-so very blessed for them!

Here's a pic of them at our local mall by their favorite thing.....the water fountain!!

Here they are on the train! They would have ridden it like a million times if I would have let them!! Look at those faces!!!!

Here they are on the railroad tracks behind my mom's house! They LOVE the trains and like watching them go by!!!

Here's my M, laying on a big old rock, sun blaring in his eyeballs, but he is as happy as always!!

Little A didn't like the sun at all but I got an OK shot of him! I couldn't believe he sat still long enough to take this picture!

Here he is again!!!!!! So cute! I could squeeze him to pieces!

Here's M! Being his happy silly self!

M in the leaves! Always a poser for the camera!!

LOVE this pic of Little A! Of course I had to screw it up and chop his body out of the picture!!!!!

I truly feel blessed for what I have been given! I don't know what I would do with myself if they weren't a part of my life! They complete me!! (tear!)

Super Mario PARTY!

On November 5, my son M turned 7!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it! When did he get so big?! Anywho...for many years I have been wanting to have a Super Mario party for M and his cousin little B. Little B's birthday is in December and he will be 7 too! CRAZY!!
I thought I would share a few pics from the extravaganza!!!!!!

Below is a pic of our very own Mario world! HOURS were spent cutting and gluing and taping but the result was awesome! The boys thoroughly enjoyed their own Mario world.

Here is a picture of the two birthday boys. Little B is on the left and my M is on the right. Don't quite understand the goofy faces but the pic made ME laugh!!!!!!

Here is Bowser's castle, at least an attempt at Bowser's castle! I wanted to get pics of the kids in front of it but did I take any?? NOPE! Oh well!!

And here is my favorite pic! All the kids with their chocolate mustaches! I was so excited when we were able to pull the chocolate and sticks from the wax paper and they didn't break! YEAH for a successful project!

And as you may or may not have noticed, there was not a single pic of little A! He wasn't with it on the party day! He was a sit by myself, leave me be, not feeling very well little guy! I felt bad! He even had his own Yoshi shirt!

Thanks for stopping by and reading my once -in- a- blue-moon posts!!

Yep, that was ME

As a teenager, I was a girl that I can't imagine myself being. I partied. I didn't dress modestly at all. I decided it was important to have two tattoos. I never went to church. I never read my scriptures. I never prayed. I was as far away from God as a person could be. I was going nowhere pretty fast!! I didn't think of God as having much of an affect in my life. I never cared for what people said was good for me.

At the age of 18, I met a person that FOREVER changed my life. I was completely head over heels for this guy. That is until he asked me to go to church with him. (It's ok now, he is my hubby!!!) I was introduced to something that I pushed away for SOOOO long.

I went to church. Not just any church, but the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was thinking, "What is this place?" Truth be told, I never heard of it before. I was thinking of how scared I would be walking into such a place. Of course we were late!! So as we walked in, everyone turned to see who this person was. I sat through sacrament petrified of what people would say and what they would think of "the new girl".

After sacrament, i wanted to leave! But I'm glad I didn't. The people were incredibly kind. They treated me like they have known me for years!! I was feeling better!!

As we left and went back home, I was asked to meet with the missionaries. And to my suprise, I said sure! I was intrigued. I wanted to know more.

I met with the missionaries and they asked me to read the Book of Mormon. I said, "The book of what??" I was in awe that there was something out there besides the Bible that was considered scripture. So I accepted. I took that book. I tried reading it. I felt the Spirit. That was it for me!! I was baptized after two months of discussions with the missionaries. I remember thinking, "I found it!!" It was what I needed in my life. I felt complete!! August 12, 2000 was the day that changed my life forever. And my hubby Adam was the man that had the courage to share it with me.

I've learned through reading my scriptures that ALL of the things I did as a teenager could be wiped away if, and only if, I repented and asked for forgiveness. I have done that. I feel better than I ever did.

"Behold, He sendeth an invitation unto all men, for the arms of mercy are extended towards them, and he saith: Repent, and I will receive you." - Alma 5:33

Thanks for reading my story. I know it's personal but I remember thinking when I joined the church that I shouldn't be there because I wasn't perfect. I'm sure there are others who feel that way too. Don't be discouraged. We all have made mistakes. It's how we handle what we do after that makes the biggest difference!!!!!!!!

Have a wonderful day!!

Pumpkin Pickin' and Family

One and a half weeks ago, my family and I went to a wonderful place called Trax Farm here in western PA. It truly is my favorite thing to do with my family! I look forward to it every year!

Below is a picture of my boys with all of their cousins!!We had so much fun with them!! Especially the little twins! It was there first time here and they LOVED the pumpkins!!!!!!!

This second picture is a pic of my guys, waiting ever so patiently to go into this huge bounce house they had set up!! I was oh so very sick and was miserable the whole day, so they did a lot of waiting patiently!! I ended up finding out that I had strep throat!! I was so sad to be sick on my favorite day of the year! Oh well! There is always next year!

I have mentioned before that I am the only member of the church in my family and I am grateful for my knowledge of the gospel. I am blessed to have such a WONDERFUL family that loves and supports me! I hope one day that my testimony will help them to understand the gospel. I hope that we can all be a forever family!! That is my hope! For now, I am just happy to be with them and make as many memories as possible with them!!

If you have a chance, go here and learn more about the Book of Mormon and the church. Jocelyn is doing a wonderful Book of Mormon forum that I am in love with!

Decide this day....

My oldest son M will be turning 7 in about a month (tear) and a goal I have set for myself is to re-read the Book of Mormon before his birthday. I want to spend time over the year until he turns 8 having one-on-one time reading and studying the Book of Mormon. I know he is young but I want him to have a testimony, no matter how small, of the Book of Mormon. I don't want him to be baptized  just because I say so!!!!!!

As I was reading, I was struck by a couple of verses in Alma 5: 15-17. It reads:

"Do ye exercise faith in the redemption of him who created you? Do you look forward with an eye of faith, and view this mortal body raised in immortality, and this corruption raised in incorruption, to stand before God to be judged according to the deeds which have been done in the mortal body?

I say unto you, can you imagine to yourselves that ye hear the voice of the Lord, saying unto you, in that day: Come unto me ye blessed, for behold, your works have been the works of righteousness upon the face of the earth?

Or do ye imagine to yourselves that ye can lie unto the Lord in that day, and say -- Lord, our works have been righteous works upon the face of the earth -- and that he will save you?"

I hope to stand before God and know that I did the very best that I could while I was in this mortal body. I know that He knows each one of us on a very personal level. He wants us to do our best. And even more, He wants to help us do our very best!! He is there to listen. He wants us to live by faith, knowing that He is there and that He cares. We need to listen to the still, small voice of the Holy Ghost and follow it's promptings.

I have a lot to work on!! I know that the Savior lives and loves each one of us!! He will help us get through the tough times. Rely on Him!! He will help you!!!

Idlewild Park!

First off, let me apologize for the poor quality of the pictures!! I forgot my camera at home and had to buy a disposable. I was so bummed!! I just didn't want to miss any moments, bad pictures and all!!

For our anniversary, we decided to finally use the tickets we had for a super fun family park called Idlewild. It's a WONDERFUL family park. It was voted #1 Kids Park in the world!! (I think!! Either that or #1 family park!!) Any-who!! It is a great place!

The first pic is taken in a place called Storybook Forest. It has every nursey rhyme you can imagine as a walk through adventure. I don't remember the story behind the pumpkin but it was the boys favorite little house, so we had to take a picture!!

Here is little A trying to pull the sword from the stone!! He tried for a VERY long time and was extremely determined to pull the sword out!! He became a bit frustrated and then turned to M and said, "Your turn!!" I guess he wanted to see if M could do it!

And here is M trying with all of his might to pull the sword out!! Little A is watching carefully, hoping his big bro can do it!! But M didn't have as much determination as Little A!! He quit in like two seconds and said, "I'm EXHAUSTED!" It was amusing!!

Here is a pic of my wonderful hubby and the kiddos in front of the teapot house! My hubby is such a good sport!!

And here I am with the boys throwing money in the well and making wishes!! M told me all of his wishes! I told him that your wishes are like secrets and you keep them to yourself. He then looked at me and shrugged his shoulders and asked, "What did you wish for Mom?" I guess he doesn't mind sharing his wishes!! He's a sweet guy! Little A didn't care about wishes! He just like throwing money in the hole!! Super funny!!

After Storybook Forest we went to the new wave pool they just put in this year. It was a blast!! I would have posted more pics, but it would take forever to scan them in!!

If you ever get the opportunity to visit PA and want a great place to go, check out http://www.idlewild.com/. There is so many wondeful things there! Besides all the rides there is miniature golf, a place called Racoon Lagoon for little kids to ride rides, a huge pool with a bunch of water slides, a place called Mr. Rogers Neighborhood, a circus, an old western looking town where you can sovenior shop and eat good grub and much much more!! It's a blast and I'm glad we got to go!!

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!!!

Happy 10 Year Anniversary!!!

Tomorrow, my hubby and I are celebrating our 10 year anniversary!! I can't believe it's been 10 years!!
We had a crazy 10 years, as any couple probably does, but it's been amazing!

I love this guy more than words can describe!! I love that we have eternity! I love that we married in the temple, even though it was hard for me. To not have my mom there with me was incredibly difficult. I am extremely grateful for the sacrifices we made to be sealed in the Washington D.C. temple!!
I am excited for the next 50 years. To watch our children grow up and make their own lives and their own choices (gasp!!) will be entertaining to say the least!!
This man is wonderful and I love him more than anything else!! I love his hugs, and his kisses (hehe) and am excited to see what the future beholds for us!!!
Love is a splendid thing and I will be forever grateful to this man for sharing the gospel with me and for sticking by my side when no one else could. I love you Adam!!! Happy 10 years!!!

Our (somewhat) Glorious Bounty!!

FINALLY after months of planning and hard-work and sweat, our gardens are producing!!! YEAH-O!! We have a family garden so this isn't even scratching the surface of what we have!! It's a tremendous blessing to be able to walk outside and have fresh produce to eat anytime you want!! And this is the first time we have grown corn and I have to say, it's DIVINE!!! My hubby is responsible for that!! He's an amazing grower!! I'm a tad bit jealous!!

I haven't been able to personally go to the garden because I tore a ligament in my ankle from climbing on a chair! GO ME!! I am quite clumsy and the older I get the more clumsy I am.

Any-who!! Have a beautiful day! All I can think about is how in about two months, I will have my HALLOWEEN decorations up!! HEHEHE!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Saddle up!

I guess it's time to buck up and get ready because I have an entire herd to reign in!!! (Wow, that was a whole lot of twang there!! At least in my head there was!!)

Yesterday I was officially called as the primary president in our branch. (Primary president is "in charge" of the children in my church . Check out www.lds.org). Woah. I always wondered what it would feel like if this ever happened. Once again I say....woah. I know most people probably feel the same way but there is no way to describe it. Scary, overwhelming(in a good way), exhausting (once again in a good way!), but fun!! I love the kiddos in our Primary. They are amazing. The knowledge they have and their love for the gospel overwhlems me!! I tear up pretty much every time they speak.
I love this gospel!! I especially love the children.

Everyone wonders why there is so much excitement for me. I didn't grow up in the gospel. I joined when I was 18. I missed Primary and Young womens and jumped straight into Relief Society. Not that it's a bad thing, but I like experiencing it. Especially with my kiddos.

Anyone out there have any advice, PLEASE don't hesitate!! I am very open to any advice. I love all of you that follow this little ol' blog! You are all inspirational to me!!!!

FUN blocks

I've been wanting to show my fun blocks for awhile (like since the beginning of May) but life is crazy!! But I love these blocks! They scream SUMMER to me and I adore summer!! I love picnics and since picnics are FUN, I put the two together with a littlw whimsy in the form of ants!! Be kind to my art! I don't have any fancy machines, just paint and brushes!! I love to create and do things for free!! Or at least as close to free as possible!!

Thank you for the followers who leave such lovely comments!! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the summer!!

Craft/ homeschool wall!!!

Part of my business latley has been the creation of my WALL!!! I didn't take a before pic and I wish I would have!!! See the yellow color?? The whole room was yellow!! I wasn't crazy about it!!! So I took some paint that my mom had from painting her house and some of the colors from around my house and painted rainbow stripes on my wall!!! Can I just say how much I love it!! I didn't do the whole room because that would be crazy....right??! Plus half of the room is our T.V. room/ family room. We are looking to make our basement our living area but that will wait until next year!!
My wonderful hubby made the white shelves and I made the book/ picture ledges. I wanted areas to hang jars from and my hubby did it wonderfully!!! LOVE THEM!!! And the book ledges were made from some scraps I found at my brother's house! I saw them somewhere for $10 a piece and thought, hey I can do that!! They are awesome and my kids love them!!
This weekend, we are receiving a kitchen table from the in-laws and so we are making a desk for this wall by cutting our old table in half and smacking it on the wall. Hope it works!! Will definitely have to post pics of that project!! =)
Have a lovely day!! Stop back and drop me a line!!

I'm Dreaming of Christmas....already!!

Yes...it is true. Christmas is on my mind the day after it's over!!!! I have been thinking of more personalized gifts to give my children and A LOT of ideas came flooding to my mind!! But first, I want to share a couple of photos of my family.

Here is my hubby and M watching some local "pilots" fly their planes. It was fun, as you can see by M's face!! Little A is behind them, not paying much attention!!

And here is Little A, in all his glory! This is what he did while I was loading our dishwasher!! He looked so funny that I had to take a pic! What mom wouldn't????
And below, is my latest creation: the checkerboard. M and I were a the library and they have this hand painted checkerboard there that he loves. I thought, I could do that!! I wanted something that he could grow into that didn't look too kiddish, and this is what I came up with!!! I love it!!! I hope I can keep it a secret until Christmas!!! Now, what will I do for checkers???? I'm so excited to figure it out!!!
It was an absolutely gorgeous day here in PA!!! I mean, GORGEOUS!!!! Hope you all had a lovely day! Thanks for stopping by!!!

Busy, busy, busy.....

Things around here have been, well BUSY!! We have TWO gardens to tend to, M just finished kindergarten ( tear) , been building shelves in our kitchen , and helping my brother with a remodel!! And when I say remodel, I mean he built an ENTIRE second story on his house!! My mom and older brother and his three kids will be living there. The second story is my brothers and his childrens and the bottom is my mom's. And the brother who built it is not the one living there!! He has a big heart and this is a tremendous undertaking!! He is giving up a house that he could be living in and helping his family out. He wanted to do it!! My mom was shocked!!
But that's whats happening around here!! I'm still alive, just barely, and hope to post pics of the house soon!!!
Thanks for stopping by!! Have a great day!!

Special Little Spirit

My Little A. I love this boy so very much! As I sit here, house quiet, kids sleeping, hubby workin', I wonder, "Did I get to do ANYTHING with Little A today?" And I realize that it didn't happen. When he asked me to read him a book, I said WAIT! I said wait because I was cleaning the living room. WOW! How lame is that! What would it have taken, 5 minutes of my time to pick him up, hold him and read. What could have been 5 precious, memory making minutes. I let them go to waste. It makes me sad.

I get to spend time with M, watching him grow and learn as we homeschool. I congratulate him and high-five him. Little A looks at us and joins the celebration! He is such a sweet boy. I need to make the time. I need to forget the things that will be there tomorrow and hold tight to the little boy who is growing up each day and will soon be leaving my protective arms. I want both of my boys to take with them wonderful memories of a mother who actually took the time to be with them and planned her day for them.

"For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." (Matthew 6:21) I read this scripture and my heart dropped. Was my treasure truly the cleaning of my livingroom? At that moment, it was. That's crazy for me to think about. It actually hurts.

I turned 29 about two weeks ago and I set some goals that I would like to achieve or at least work on over the next year. They are things like read my scriptures for more than 5 minutes, lose weight, more righteously fullfill my calling at church, etc. NO WHERE on that list does it say, spend quality time with my kids daily. Well, that it changing tonight. It has to. As the only member of the church in my family, I constantly look for someone to help me raise my kids the way we are taught through the scriptures to raise them. I often feel like I am beating a dead horse. I am the chosen mother of the two special spirits I have. The Lord bestowed this awesome responsibility to ME.

Thanks for reading this and stopping by. I know it's personal, but I feel that if I share it, I will have support. I am grateful to the few who stop by and read. You are very encouraging and I am grateful for all of you.

Hope you had a wonderful day! (Excuse the picture! We were dying Easter eggs and it was a great memory so I posted it; even with me in it!!)

Atonement 101

I am the first couselor in our branches Primary which allows me the privlege of teaching music every Sunday and sharing time every other Sunday. So this past Sunday I taught a lesson on the Atonement. I was trying to be creative and decided to do a little Atonement 101 lesson. First, I made a "clean slate" which represents being baptized. On the back of the "clean slate" it reads,"When we are baptized, we are given a 'clean slate'. We are sinless and need to obey Heavenly Father's commandments in order to stay clean."

Second, I made the same "slate" and put added rip marks and dark spots representing the sins in our life. On the back of the "dirty slate" it reads," When we sin, we allow our 'clean slate' to become spotted. We let our sins 'dirty' our clean slate and need to repent to 'erase' our sins." I then asked how we are able to clean our slate once it is dirty. Most of the kids said by repenting, and I asked who died for us so we can repent. They said Jesus and I asked what this service was called and they said the Atonement.
Then I showed this pencil and had the 4 steps of repentence on the front. It's hard to see in the pic but the steps are:
1. Feel sorry
2. Ask forgiveness
3. right the wrong
4. don't do it again!
Then on the back of the pencil it reads," Heavenly Father sent His Son to sacrifice Himself for our sins. By doing that, we can repent and our Heavenly Father can "erase" our sins."
It was an awesome lesson and the kids may have even learned something along the way! =)
I made each of the kids their very own Atonement 101 kits and they got to take them home and use them to teach FHE for their families. They were very excited!
When I teach, I always try to make something we can reuse for FHE. The kids like the idea of being in charge of a lesson and to be able to teach about what they are learning in church!
I am truly grateful for my calling in Primary. I didn't join the church until I was 18 so I missed all of the good fun that comes from Primary. I am blessed to be a part of these kids lives and I hope they learn as much from me as I learn from them!

Hallway Re-do!!

Since little A's cyst diagnosis thing, we decided to start improving the safety of our home. One of the first places we thought of was our hallway. There were no carpets or runners and when little A would run and play, he would slip and slide all over the place! So we bought these runners at Walmart and put them down. They have rubber underneath to help them stay in place! Then we found the paint in the screw up bin and it was 50% off! That was good enough for me! I came home and went to work. Even found a pretty little border to go up! The reflection in the pic is bad but it's ssooo pretty! I love it! It's the only place in our home that feels complete! That's what I've been up to this week! Now I wanna do all the other rooms in our house! In due time, I guess. =) Hope everyone is having a great day! Looking forward to general conference this weekend!! yeah!!!

SCARY!!

Well, Sunday evening was scary. Little A fell off a stool and hit the back of his head and was rushed to the emergency room. They had to do a CAT scan and found that where he hit his head was fine. But the scan showed that he has a posterior fossa midline arachnoid cyst on his brain. I froze. I was scared out of my mind. The doctor at our local hospital says that it's fine and that he was born with it. I thought, OK. Now what? So they sent us to Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh today to have a neurologist look over his scans. Let's just say that I didn't sleep last night. When we arrived, I was frantic. I felt foolish but I didn't know what to do. I met the doctor and he said that it's fine. Little A can be himself but he won't be allowed to play ANY contact sports like football or hockey. They want us to make sure he doesn't take too many hard hits to the head because it could cause bleeding that would be bad. I feel better knowing whats going on. The doctor says that most people live their lives not knowing they have anything like this because they've never had a CT scan. I feel blessed as a mom to know how to try to protect my son. I feel blessed for my husband having the priesthood and for my friends who helped comfort us and let us stay at their house and keep their kids up late just so my husband could be assisted in giving our son a blessing.

Thanks for reading and stopping by. Take a look around and count your blessings!

On a side note: we had a series of tornadoes that happened all around us today. Please pray for those who lost their homes and possesions in these storms. So far no lives were lost and that is something to be grateful for!

Loves of my Life!

Well, at least some of the loves in my life! As an early Mother's Day gift to my mom, my brothers and I got together and got all our kids pictures taken together. My mom has been asking for a while, so we figured why not! WOW was it hard to get all the kids to smile and look at the camera at the same time! At first it was just the kids and it wasn't working out! We spent an hour and a half trying to get a half-decent picture! Then my mom decided to sit with the kids and look what we got: AN AMAZING PICTURE!!

We put all the kids in rainbow colors and my mom just happened to have on black and white which I thought was perfect! In order of age it goes: in the yellow is Big B, in the red is Big K, in the blue is my M, in the green is Little B, in the purple is Big A, in the orange is my Little A and in the pink are my twin nieces Little K is on the right and S is on the left! I love these kids and I especially love my mom! She is such a strong lady and I'm glad that she is mine!

I'm grateful to a perfect plan put in place by our Heavenly Father that allows families to be together forever! I love the gospel and am so grateful for a prophet that leads and guides us today! To learn more visit : www.lds.org

When I started this blog, I wanted to have a way of expressing my feelings about the church and to share experiences with my family or anyone else who decided to stop by! I'm a nervous lady and this helps me to share what I love without having to verbally say anything!!

I appreicate anyone who stops by and value your friendships!

I feel so weird not being at church right now! The boys and I are SICK!!! The hubby went along without us! This is my way to have a little Sunday with me!!

Have a great day everyone!! =)

General Conference Match-up!

I LOVE conference weekend! I love the time we get to spend as a family watching all the speakers! So I was trying to find something fun for the kids to do while watching and something for the to do to start recognizing who all the apostles were. So I made a Spring themed matching game. I KNOW I have two boys and the flowers are a wee bit feminine, but I though it was cute! I made them funky colors so they look a little retro and not so girlie!

Below is a picture of one of the flowers that has Presidents Monson on it! I found a set of all the apostles and the prophet in this months issue of the Friend. I just printed a duplicate copy at www.lds.org.

The next picture shows how they go together. I think it's pretty cute! I just used a scrapbooking stencil for the flower and the circle. It worked out pretty well, I think!

This is the whole group, minus one because Little A took it, all matched together! I love them and can't wait to do some for the fall session!
We had a lovely warm day here in PA! I enjoyed it even though my WHOLE household is sick! We still got outside a bit for a sluggish game of hopscotch!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

We had a fun day today! We started the day by "discovering" that a leprechaun had left little green foot prints all over the kitchen (I can't believe I didn't get a pic =() and realizing that he also left a pot of rainbow filled treats on the counter! The boys were so excited! We then had green pancakes shaped like shamrocks!

Below is a pic of one of the pancakes. Doesn't look green, but it was REALLY green when you cut it open!

Here's M (and a little bit of the hubby!) eating their pancakes! M was trying to get some syrup! What good is a pancake without syrup?!
Little A wasn't with it today! He's a sick little guy =( But I took a pic anyways!

Here are rainbow cupcakes I made for a Primary activity last weekend. I iced them white and added rainbow sprinkles and the kids went bananas for them!! I got the recipe from www.familyfun.com. They take a while to make, but I'd be willing to make them once a year!

Hope everyone had a fun day! Make the most of your days, especially if you have little ones! They will be grown and moved out before you know it!!

10 Little Rubber Ducks!!

We read the 10 Little Rubber Ducks today and it is a cute little book! Another one I need to buy (I am going to be BROKE!)

Here is a pic of the boys "painting" glue onto their ducks and adding yellow tissue paper to it! What a mess it was! I thought it would be totally Eric Carle-y!

Here's the ducks, not quite finished because the boys got fed up with the tissue paper sticking to their fingers! It was a good idea in theory! Maybe I will finish them tonight...or maybe not!

I did my first link up thing over at Vintage Wanna Bee and it was fun! Got to see a TON of great ideas!

Beautiful day...

Just a quick little post tonight! I helped paint my brothers house this evening and I'm exhausted!! Good feeling to do some service though!!

Before my hubby and I painted, we attended a baptism. It was truly remarkable! The Spirit was so strong there and the young man that was baptized will make an awesome addition to our branch! =) I remember being baptized a little over ten years ago. I was a timid, shy 18 year old girl, scared to death of what I was getting myself into! The gospel absolutely changed my life for the better! I am stronger knowing who I am, and knowing my worth to a loving Father in Heaven! Being the only member in my family was the HARDEST part. They didn't understand and some of them still don't. When I got sealed in the temple, I devistated my whole family. Leaving my mom to go to the Washington, D.C. temple just about cracked me. I am glad I did what I knew was the right thing for me. Now my mom understands. She supports me and I love her for that!

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ! To learn more visit www.lds.org.

Thanks for visiting!! Have a great night!!

The Very Clumsy Click Beetle

Truth is, I tried REALLY hard not to do a craft today and just read the book but the boys wouldn't have it! So I did the craft I had planned and it turned out pretty cute!

We read The Very Clumsy Click Beetle today and it's the cutest book ever! Definitely one to buy!

We made our very own click beetles. I printed out beetles from the computer , let them color them, hot glued pipe cleaners for legs and hot glued the body onto a clothes pin. You need the clothespins with the springs so when you push down, they CLICK!! It works wonderfully!
Here's a pic of the boys clicking them at the table! Very fun project to do!

Have a great day and stop by soon! I love visitors! =)
