Eight is Great!!!!!

On Januray 12, 2013, these two special little boys were baptized members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints!!
Brody (left) and Micahel turned 8 at the end of last year and couldn't wait for the big day!!!

Below is a picture of my mom, who was baptized last February, with her two grandsons!

As you can see, she is a proud grandma!!

The next picture is of Michael's other grandma, her friend, my husband Adam and Michael!

Below is a picture of most of the kiddos that attended their baptism!

The next is my husband getting ready to baptize the boys and I snuck in this pic!!

Here is Michael's Aunt Lauren, Pap, my husband and Mike, again!

The last picture is my favorite! I walked into where they were filling up the font, and this is what I saw. These innocent precious children, watching in anticipation for the font to fill. Don't know why, but it brought me to tears!

We had a fun day, filled with friends and family! I wish I would have taken a picture of the food table and decorations! I don't know what I was thinking!!!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful day, wherever you are! (Because in PA, it's FREEZING!!!!!!)

Super Sunday!

We had a long, but fun day at church today! Adam couldn't go because he's been sick but the kiddos and I forged ahead!!!

In Primary, my nursery leader, Sunbeams teacher and CTR teacher were all missing today!! The dynamic duo that makes up my nursery leader and Sunbeams teacher are husband and wife and they had two sick little girls. :( I was sad not to see them!!! And my CTR teacher, who is also the primary music leader, was seeing her hubby off as he was going to basic training. I felt sad for her!! I would miss my hubbs terribly if he was going to be gone for so long! So, my first counselor and I filled every place that we could and we had fun!!! As weird as it sounds!!

Any who!!! Below is a craft that we did with the Primary that I found awhile ago in an old Friend magazine that I thought we be fun as a Valentine's Day challenge. Since Choose The Right is the theme for this year, I decided to set up a 14 day CTR challenge where I challenged each child to do at least one good thing a day. Then I gave their parents slips of paper where they could record one of their good deeds and put it inside the containers they made. Then in two weeks, we are going to record all their good doings! The kids were excited about this challenge! I hope they all succeed!!

This is a pic of M holding his container ( I don't know what else to call it!!!) All the kids had fun doing this!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Sunday! I sure did!!!!!

Saddle up!

I guess it's time to buck up and get ready because I have an entire herd to reign in!!! (Wow, that was a whole lot of twang there!! At least in my head there was!!)

Yesterday I was officially called as the primary president in our branch. (Primary president is "in charge" of the children in my church . Check out www.lds.org). Woah. I always wondered what it would feel like if this ever happened. Once again I say....woah. I know most people probably feel the same way but there is no way to describe it. Scary, overwhelming(in a good way), exhausting (once again in a good way!), but fun!! I love the kiddos in our Primary. They are amazing. The knowledge they have and their love for the gospel overwhlems me!! I tear up pretty much every time they speak.
I love this gospel!! I especially love the children.

Everyone wonders why there is so much excitement for me. I didn't grow up in the gospel. I joined when I was 18. I missed Primary and Young womens and jumped straight into Relief Society. Not that it's a bad thing, but I like experiencing it. Especially with my kiddos.

Anyone out there have any advice, PLEASE don't hesitate!! I am very open to any advice. I love all of you that follow this little ol' blog! You are all inspirational to me!!!!
