Busy, busy, busy.....

Things around here have been, well BUSY!! We have TWO gardens to tend to, M just finished kindergarten ( tear) , been building shelves in our kitchen , and helping my brother with a remodel!! And when I say remodel, I mean he built an ENTIRE second story on his house!! My mom and older brother and his three kids will be living there. The second story is my brothers and his childrens and the bottom is my mom's. And the brother who built it is not the one living there!! He has a big heart and this is a tremendous undertaking!! He is giving up a house that he could be living in and helping his family out. He wanted to do it!! My mom was shocked!!

But that's whats happening around here!! I'm still alive, just barely, and hope to post pics of the house soon!!!

Hallway Re-do!!

Since little A's cyst diagnosis thing, we decided to start improving the safety of our home. One of the first places we thought of was our hallway. There were no carpets or runners and when little A would run and play, he would slip and slide all over the place! So we bought these runners at Walmart and put them down. They have rubber underneath to help them stay in place! Then we found the paint in the screw up bin and it was 50% off! That was good enough for me! I came home and went to work. Even found a pretty little border to go up! The reflection in the pic is bad but it's ssooo pretty! I love it! It's the only place in our home that feels complete! That's what I've been up to this week! Now I wanna do all the other rooms in our house! In due time, I guess. =) Hope everyone is having a great day! Looking forward to general conference this weekend!! yeah!!!

Things to think about!

I said before about wanting to learn new things and how to be more efficient, so I kind of started today! I was looking through old fabric and found old red pillow cases that I made before. I think I'm going to be THRIFTY and reuse them in my bedroom. My bedroom is a pretty blue color and has cream too but I wanted to add a little more color. So my hubby and I decided to use red as an accent color. So the pillows should work out perfectly! I'm still trying to turn this little house into a more comfy home. Fill it with things about us that make us and everyone who enters feel at home. I love my family and my hubby for providing us with the home! I love the Lord and all the talents He has given to my hubby so he is able to provide for us!

I love my new house!

We just moved into our very first home and we are so very excited! I am so thrilled to be able to add touches of us to our own house!! So I thought I would post a picture of what we have done so far.

Below is a pic of our dining room. The balloons are not part of the decor but we had little A's birthday party before I took this pic. The color was a little scary at first but now it's my favorite. My hubbie picked it out. It's a relaxing color to me!





Below is a pic of the boys bathroom (yes we have our own bathroom...aaaahhhh!) We found this monkey curtain and thought it was perfect!!!!! So I based the wall color off of the shower curtain. It's awesome!!!!

Now this is my totally favorite room! The boy's room is so cool. I wanted to try to make their room look like the sky and I think we succeeded. Adam and I worked together and got it done. It took awhile but I think it looks pretty good if I don't say so myself! :) We found wall decals that look just like the planets and ta-da, it's a sky!

Well that's all for now. My brain is starting to go fuzzy from all the picture downloading and typing. Man I'm worn out!!(Just kidding!) Hope you enjoy!
